Brain Tissue, Nuclei, Fluid & Autonomic Nervous System

Dora Franco, B.Sc., D.O., BI-D, ( ) completed the Course Brain Tissue, Nuclei, Fluid & Autonomic Nervous System, which was developed by Dr. Bruno Chikly, M.D. and D.O. (F). This course is part of the first segment of the Brain Tissue, Nuclei, Fluid Curriculum dedicated to highly qualified therapists.

This advanced Course offers new techniques to address very specific structures, including the brain and the spinal cord, along with pathologies related to the central nervous system, such as closed-head injuries, whiplash, headaches, dyslexia, cerebral palsy, cognitive behavioural dysfunctions, learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease.

During the course the therapists explore methods for dealing with tissue trauma and cellular fear and learn techniques for the ventricular fluid system; lateral, 3rd and 4th ventricles; and central canal of the spine.

Highly skilled therapists can identify and access very precise areas of the brain that hold primary lesions and trauma, release restrictions in more than 20 brain nuclei, including the corpus callosum, fornix, thalamus, amygdala, hippocampus, hypothalamus, and substantia nigra.
